Featured in this nostalgic, hand-painted scenic are some of the tiki bars that existed in the golden era of the tiki craze. Our artists drew inspiration for this print from the vintage photos published in Sven Kristen's seminal book on tiki bars in the United States, "The Book of Tiki."
These retro bars may no longer be in existence, but they live on as fond memories of the post war generations. The tiki bars featured in this print include Kona Kai, The Islander (Stockton, CA), Tradewinds (Oxnard, CA), Mai Kai (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Judges' Beyond the Reef (Brookfield, WI) and Kahiki (Columbus, OH) with a little nod to Tiki Bob's (San Francisco, CA).
